Following any contact with the substances identified above, prompt-

ly clean the product.
Prosthetic components must not be exposed to corrosive elements such
as fresh water, salt water and acids.
Using this medical device in such environmental conditions will render all
claims against Otto Bock HealthCare null and void.
Prosthetic components must not be subjected to intense smoke, dust, vi-
brations, shocks or high temperatures. Do not allow debris or liquids to get
into the prosthesis and its components. Failure to follow these instructions
can lead to malfunctioning and damage to the prosthesis.
2.5 Function
The Ottobock Elbow Set-Ups are available in the following versions:
• 12K19=40
• 12K5=*
• 12K20=*
For available sizes, please refer to section 3.
The elbow set-ups have a passive elbow lock. The different locking positions
can be set with a lock button (Fig. 1, item A). The 12K19=40 set-up has
10 possible locking positions in 8° increments and 12K5=* and 12K20=*
set-ups have 13 possible locking positions in 8° increments.
The lock button (Fig. 1, item A) is used to manually release and lock the
elbow lock.
