1. Before you use this product
• Please make sure you read the instruction manual carefully.
This information will help you to familiarize yourself with your new
device, to learn all of its functions and parts, to find out important details
about its first use and how to operate it and to get advice in the event of a
malfunction.
• Following and respecting the instructions in your manual will prevent

3. Application
• Sous vide is a food preparation method where meat, fish or vegetables
are cooked gently in a water bath at a constantly low temperature. The
raw ingredients are first vacuum packed and sealed in a vacuum bag. The
water temperature corresponds to the core temperature of the food to be
cooked. The preparation time depends on the type and size of the food.
The Sous-Vide thermometer is used to ensure that your dish has reached
the exact core temperature. Thanks to the probe's extra-thin tip and
the foam tape, the core temperature can be measured without losing the
vacuum in the bag.

5. For your safety
• This product is exclusively intended for the range of application
described above. The product should only be used as described within
these instructions.
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are not per-
mitted.
• This product is not be used for medical purpose.
Caution!
Risk of injury:
• Wear heat-resistant protective gloves when touching the probe during or
after cooking. Risk of burns!
• Be careful when handling the sharp probe.
• Keep this device and the battery out of reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or
recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If a battery has been swallowed, get
medical assistance immediately.
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as
soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when hand-
ling leaking batteries.
Important information on product safety!
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
• Do not use the instrument in the microwave, oven or grill.
• The display unit can only be operated within a temperature range from
0°C...50°C.
• The cable and the handle are heat resistant up to 120 °C.
• Only the probe is heat resistant up to 250 °C.
• Never hold the probe directly over a fire.
• Do not immerse the display unit, the connector, the cable and the handle
in water. Water can penetrate and cause malfunction. Not suitable for
dishwasher.
• Do not bend the probe!
