b. Connection of an electric catch, lock and of a gate motor
- An electric lock or strike may be connected to terminals 7 and 8 on the roadside panel.
The strike or lock will be controlled by a short press (1 sec.) on the
key on the handset.
Important :
It is essential that the electric latch or lock installed has a mechanical memory like all products
marketed by Extel. For the wiring diagram please consult the label on the back of the handset and the back of the
roadside panel.
- An automatic gate opener, may be connected to terminals 5 and 6 and the two «external control» terminals on
the automatic opener.
The automatic opening mechanism will be controlled by a short press (1 sec.) on the
gate on the handset.
The functions are only valid if the handset is picked up.
c. Connecting an extra indoor station (CB BUS)
An additional CB BUS handset can be connected in parallel to the nearest handset.
It is essential to ensure that the poles are correctly matched when connecting the handset.
