Intended use
This tool is intended for harvesting olive.
General Power Tool Safety Warnings

CORDLESS OLIVE HARVESTER SAFETY
WARNINGS
1.
Keep the carbon rods and other moving parts
away from your finger, face or other body parts.
Your fingers may be caught in those moving parts
and it may result in personal injury.
2.
Wear ear protectors.
3.
Do not use or leave the olive harvester in the rain or
in wet or very damp conditions. The electric motor is
not waterproof.
4.
First-time users should have an experienced olive
harvester user show them how to use the harvester.
5.
The olive harvester must not be used by children or
young persons under 18 years of age. Young per-
sons over 16 years of age may be exempted from
this restriction if they are undergoing training under
the supervision of an expert.

Use the olive harvester only if you are in good phys-
ical condition. If you are tired, your attention will be
reduced. Be especially careful at the end of a work-
ing day. Perform all work calmly and carefully. The
user is responsible for all damages to third parties.
7.
Never use the harvester when under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medication.
8.
Take appropriate rest during work. Continuous use

may cause extreme fatigue.
9.
Work gloves of vibration absorbing are part of the
basic equipment of the olive harvester and must
always be worn when working with it. Also wear
GEA010-1
sturdy shoes with anti-skid soles.
10. Before starting make sure that the harvester is in
good and safe working order. Ensure carbon rods
are fitted properly. The olive harvester must not be
used unless fully assembled.
11. Make sure you have a secure footing before starting
operation.
12. Hold the tool firmly when using the tool.
13. Do not use olive harvester on a ladder or other

unstable position.
14. Switch off the harvester and remove the battery car-
tridge before doing any maintenance work.
15. When moving the olive harvester to another loca-
tion, including during work, always remove the bat-
tery cartridge. Never carry or transport the harvester
with the motor running.
16. Clean the olive harvester after use, and before put-
ting the harvester into storage for extended periods.
