it has not become twisted. If the diagonal section of the seat belt lies
across the neck or face of the child when seated in the booster seat you
should use the seat belt guide.
Place the child on the booster seat and the seat belt guide on the child's
left or right shoulder, depending on which side the booster seat is fitted.
Fit the booster seat as shown.
Feed the diagonal section of the seat belt through the clips of the large
buckle on the end of the seat belt guide. Use the small buckle on the
seat belt guide to adjust its length and to pull it away from the face and
neck of the child. Ensure the seat belt guide is positioned on the child's
shoulder and not on the neck or face.
Notes: To better protect your child:
. Make sure your child is securely fastened in the safety seat and the
harness snugly fits over his/her body.
. Never leave your child unattended in the safety seat or in the vehicle.
. When installing your child on the rear seat of the vehicle, move the
front seat forward far enough to avoid his feet hitting the backrest of the
front seat (this may also prevent risk of injury, in the case of an accident).
. When entering in or exiting your child from the vehicle, do it only on
the safe side of the street, away from traffic.
