Store the straps in their assigned spaces under the 1 and 2 portions of
the seat cover.
The crotch buckle can be stored in its compartment with lid, below the
·
fabric cover, in the middle of the seating area.
Place the child seat on the appropriate vehicle seat, front facing, in the
·
travel direction.
·
Make sure the vehicle seat backrest is locked in the vertical position.
·
Make sure the vehicle seat is secured in the rearmost position.
Make sure that the vehicle seat headrest doesn't affect the correct po-
·
sitioning of the child car seat, and removing it, if necessary (Fig. 9).
Hook the Iso x connectors to the anchor points of the vehicle seat.
·
Push strongly the child car seat against the vehicle seat backrest ( Fig.
·
11) until they are in close contact.
·
Place the child in the child car seat and fasten the car safety belt, ensu-
ring that both sections ( lap and chest ) pass through the belt guide
( Part F of Fig.2), near its buckle (Fig. 23).
The chest section of the belt must pass through the upper belt guide
( Part E ) on the same side of the safety belt retractor, and over the
child's shoulder.
Stretch the chest section of the safety belt, by pulling it upward to eli-
·
minate any slack, so that the child is correctly secured.
·
Make sure the safety belt is not twisted, throughout its routing and the
slack is recuperated by the vehicle automatic safety belt retractor.
Using the adjusting lever (Part N) you can change the inclination angle
of the seat (Fig. 24).
IMPORTANT: For children weighing between 15 and 25 kg, you can
choose the reclining angle in positions 1 and 2. Position 3 can only be
used for children weighing between 9 and 18 kg when the child is retai-
ned by the ve-point harness straps.
To remove the child seat
To remove the child car seat from the vehicle seat, remove the car safety
belt from the child seat and unhook the Iso x connectors doing the sa-
me operations you did to install it, in the reverse order.

Final checks
·
Check that the straps are correctly positioned on the shoulder and
they adhere to the child's body.
·
Ensure the vehicle safety belt is correctly routed onto the child seat.
Check that the vehicle seat belt is not stuck in any way or twisted.

Make sure that the safety belt is properly fastened and the child seat is
·
securely xed into the car seat.
Make sure that both the Iso x connectors are properly engaged.
·
·
Make sure the Top Tether is correctly hooked and not twisted, and its
tension indicator is green.
Check that the harness straps are properly adjusted.
·
Verify that the harness buckle is properly fastened.
·
Make sure that the shoulder straps are always in the right position on
·
the child's body.
·
Check regularly that the main elements are intact and undamaged.
Check that all parts are properly working.
·
Ensure that the child seat is not blocked in the door or in the seat rails,
·
avoiding breakages, damages, wear and tear etc...
Every time you use the child seat, check that the safety belt is properly
·
fastened and tightened, before placing the child in the seat.
If position of the adult safety-belt buckle relative to the main load bea-
·
ring contact points on the restraint is unsatisfactory ( see picture A2
for example) do not install this car seat on your vehicle.
If in doubt about this point Please contact the child restraint manu-
facturer.
Important:
No matter how the child seat has been well designed; if incorrectly in-
stalled, it may not be able to protect your child in case of an accident.
NOTE: Any car seat can leave marks on the vehicle seats.
This product has been conceived with the aim to minimize this effect as
much as possible, in order to avoid damaging the vehicle seats on which
it is installed .
It is important to keep the contact surfaces of the child seat and the ve-
hicle seat clean at all times from dust, sand and any other material.
