GENERAL MAINTENANCE:

It was verifi ed that the power tools are subject to accelerated wear and
possible premature failure when used in fi berglass of boat or sport car,
plaster and plastering.
The chips of these materials are highly abrasive for the parts of machine,
such as bearings, brushes, switches, etc.
IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED for this machine to use for extended work on any
fi berglass material, plaster, plastering or mortar.When using these materials,
it is extremely important that it be cleaned frequently and can be used
compressed air carefully.
To avoid serious injury, ALWAYS REMOVE the
Battery from the machine to cleaning or main-
tenance.
During maintenance, USE only original parts. Non-
original parts can cause risk of accidents and dam-
ages to the product. In order to ensure safety and
reliability, all repairs shall be carried out by a com-
pany accredited by Starrett.
