First startup
The controller is factory-set as Basic System.
To go to another type of system, it is possible to manually change the parameter defined System Setting (Installer
parameter, default 0=Basic System), or use Auto-configuration.
System manual setting
See System Setting parameter in the SERVICE MENU paragraph.
System auto-configuration
System 1
If the card is configured as Basic System (Installer parameter, default 0), just disconnect the power supply and
connect the solar collector return NTC sensor S4 to the corresponding terminals: on restoring the power, the card
will automatically configure itself as a System 1. From then on, interrupting the solar collector return NTC sensor
S4 will generate fault 84 and, on disconnecting the power supply, the card will remain configured as System 1.
System 2
If the card is configured as Basic System (Installer parameter, default 0), just disconnect the power supply and con-
nect the upper hot water tank PT1000 sensor S1 to the corresponding terminals: on restoring the power, the card
will automatically configure itself as System 2. From then on, interrupting the Upper hot water tank PT1000 sensor
S1 will generate fault 81 and, on disconnecting the power supply, the card will remain configured as System 2.
System 3
If the card is configured as Basic System (Installer parameter, default 0), just disconnect the power supply and
connect the solar collector return NTC sensor S4 and the upper hot water tank PT1000 sensor S1 to the corre-
sponding terminals: on restoring the power, the card will automatically configure itself as a System 3. From then
on, interrupting the solar collector return NTC sensor S4 will generate fault 84, interrupting the upper hot water
tank PT1000 sensor S1 will generate fault 81 and, also disconnecting the power supply, the card will remain
configured as System 3.
System 4
An autoconfiguration is not foreseen for System 4.
