Preparation of lifting columns

3.3.1 Fitting lifting column extensions
¶
Mount the lifting column extension (1) on the top
part of the lifting column (3) and secure.

3.3.2 Fitting hydraulic cylinder
1. Guide the hydraulic cylinder (6) from underneath
into the lifting column extension.
2. Slide the metal tube (7) onto the hydraulic cylinder.
3. Screw the cylinder head (4) fully onto the hydraulic
cylinder and tighten by hand.

If the cylinder head is not fully screwed on, it might
damage the sealing gasket on the piston.
4. Tighten the grub screw (5) to fix the cylinder head in
position.
5. Push the cylinder head (4) against the metal tube (7)
and tighten the locating screw (8).
6. Mount the end plate on the lifting column extension
(1) and secure.

5 Lower mount
1. Guide the vertical switch rod (4) into the lower
mount (5), then insert the upper end in the opening
in the end plate (1).
2. Position the switching bar (2) as shown above.
3. Place the limit switch (3) on the mounting plate and
screw on.
4. Check operation: Pushing the vertical switch rod
upwards must cause the limit switch to be actuated.
