INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1) Connect the pad to the appropriate mains. In models with a
built-in power supply, firstly connect the power outlet cable to the
pad, and then connect the product to the appropriate mains.
2) Turn on the product by taking the regulator control and activating
the sliding on/off side switch, setting it to the
"I" setting.
The electronic control immediately starts a swift check to detect
any possible problems indicted on the through a LED scan through
which the following are configured in the working mode by default:
LED 1 lit up (minimum temperature level) and free mode (no time
selected).
3) Set the desired temperature level, from the 4 levels available by
repeatedly pressing the temperature selection key . The pad now
operates normally in free mode: Only the blue indicator LED for the
selected temperature is the only thing that remains lit up on the
control screen, with everything else turned off.
4) You can select an Automatic Stop time at any time by pressing
as many times as desired on this key
.
The LEDs (F) indicate the pre-selected operation time at all times.
If no operation time blue LED remains lit, it returns to Free mode.
Once the pre-selected operation time elapses, the pad is turned off,
the temperature LEDs are turned off on the control screen and only
the pre-selected operation time indicator LEDs are turned on.
Press any key to immediately return to Free mode.
5) Turn off the pad by activating the on/off side sliding switch once
again, placing it in the "0" setting.
We recommend placing the regulator at its maximum setting (level
4 temperature) when commencing operation of the pad, for 20
minutes, in order to avail of the swift heating. The temperature then
reduces until the desired heat is obtained.
The maximum temperature setting (level 4) should only be used for
the first 20 minutes of operation with the purpose of swiftly heating
the pad.
However, the pad will automatically reduce its temperature after
about 2 hours of continuous operation if this recommendation is not
observed, as a safety measure.
We wish to remind you that high temperatures are not required to
avail of the beneficial effects of the heat provided by the pad and
that applying excessive continued heat to the skin may lead to
burns. The highest regulator temperature settings
must only be used for the time required to attain a comfortable
temperature, through which, it is recommended to gradually reduce
the temperature to a lower setting.
As indicated above, if you notice the temperature reducing after
extended us of the pad at temperature levels 3 and 4, this is not
indicative of any fault; rather that the automatic high temperature
time control system has been activated, that is included in the Daga
pads, to prevent any excessive application of heat to the ski.
Always allow the pad to cool down prior to storage and never store
with other objects placed on top of the pad.
