Bend the extension cord and pass it through
hole (1), then fit it in clamp (2) (Fig. 1).
Remove the protective cap from the blades
before turning power on.
Make sure the voltage of the power source
(110/127 V or 220/230 V) is the same of the
equipment.
Connect the power supply cord to a wall
outlet.
Always keep the hedge trimmer in front of
you. Firmly hold the handle with both hands
and position yourself in a safe and stable
manner.
Switching on - Press the dual power on/off
switch (3 and 4) (Fig. 1).
Wait until the engine reaches proper speed
before starting pruning.
Avoid continuously turning the hedge trimmer
on and off, turn it on and keep it on while
working; this contributes to proper engine
cooling, and avoids overheating.
Warning!
The cutting blades keep moving for some seconds
after the equipment is switched off. Always keep
your body away from the blades.

Note: For safety reasons this equipment has a dual
on/off switch to prevent hand contact with the
blade during work.
Operation
Switching off - Release the dual power on/off
switch (3 and 4) (Fig. 1).
In case the hedge trimmer is blocked by an
object, immediately switch it off, unplug it
and check the cutting blades. If the blades
are damaged, take your hedge trimmer to the
nearest TRAPP technical assistance shop.
Frequently check the cutting blades and
whenever
nearest technical assistance shop for either
substitution or repairs.
Never use the hedge trimmer incomplete or
with unauthorized modifications.
Note: Always start pruning with the machine
blades in motion. Turning the machine on with
material between the blades will damage it. This
will cause loss of warranty.
