As for wireless detectors, each wired detector can be programmed with:
• the assigned alarm zone (A, B, C, D, E, F)
• input delay
• text label
• voice name
6.4.9 - External key
The HSCU2GC and HSCU2C control panels have a "KEY" input to which can
be connected a contact for arming/disarming the unit itself; arming can be total
or partial depending on how it is programmed .
The contact must be: closed for disarmed and open for armed .
For details, see Chapter 5 . If EN50131 is enabled, the contact must be bal-
anced .
The control panel switches its state as the contact itself switches, but can then
also be controlled by other devices, such as remote controls, which can disarm
the control panel even if the "KEY" contact is open .

the parameters in the following

The procedure assigns a keypad with the control panel . This enables the
user to totally/partially arm and disarm the system, using the various "access
codes" already programmed on the keypad (do not use the installer code or
master user code) .
01. Insert the batteries into the keypad (pull out the separation tab); a beep is
emitted and all LEDs flash for 60 seconds .
02. Within 60 seconds use the touch screen to arm and then immediately dis-
arm the system using a valid access code (when you disarm it, it will beep
6 times to confirm) .
Important – The keypad is enabled to act only on alarm zones A, B, C . If an
access code is enabled for any one of zones D, E, F, it will not be accepted .
Important – This operation must be done every time you change the
touch screen's batteries.
