Wall Mounting
With the aid of the wall mounting kit (refer to the accessories), the unit can be securely mounted on a wall.
The mounting instructions are included in the mounting kit.

Setup Recommendations
Operate the unit at room temperature 21 – 25°C [70 – 77°F].
Depending on the information from the impression material manufacturer, the impression material is to be prepared prior to
usage in a room temperature between 21 – 25°C [70 – 77°F] for reaching optimum product properties.
Because of this, it is recommended to use Dynamix speed at the same temperature. Impression material that is too cold,
especially with temperatures less than 21°C [70°F], can result in Dynamix speed changing automatically to a lower supporting
speed because of safety reasons. Please also see chapter 9: Troubleshooting.

When setting up the unit, please note the following:
– Do not place the unit under a heat source.

– Do not place the unit in front of open windows.
– Do not set the unit up where it will be subjected to direct sunlight.

Connection and Starting
Before connecting the unit to the wall outlet, make sure the voltage information
on the nameplate corresponds to your local power supply.
• Connect the provided power cord (19, fig. 1) to the main connection socket (18).
• Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
• Switch the unit on at the main power switch (16).

Remove Shipping Restraint
The shipping restraint must be removed before the unit may be operated:
• The unit has been connected and switched on as described in Section 4.2.
• Close the unit cover.
• Press the retract key (4).
○ The plungers (9, fig. 1) retract to their home position where they stop.
• Open the unit cover (8, fig. 1).
• Remove the shipping restraint (23).
The unit is now ready for use.

Cartridge Installation and Replacement
A cartridge can only be installed or replaced if both plungers (9, fig.1) are in their home position.
• Close the unit cover (8, fig. 1).
• Press the retract key (4).
• The plungers return to their home position and automatically stop.
Just before the end, the retraction speed reduces.
Only open the unit cover once the plungers have reached their home position and have
stopped.
• Open the unit cover (8, fig. 1).
• Place cartridge (20) in unit.
Please make sure that the cartridge is fitted into place under the catch (12).
• Select mixing program (15), cf. also section 5.1.1.
Information on the mixing program can be found on the cartridge in the form
of an "asterisk"
Any impression materials which do not have these symbols may only
be processed using the "ST" program.
