10. TROUBLESHOOTING
Below are a list of some of the most common problems that may arise, with the relative solutions.
DEFECT
The mains fuses burn when the gene-
rator switch is pressed
With the generator switch ON, the
machine does not turn on (the green
LED (15 of fig. 1) does not light up)
With the generator on, LED 4 shown
in figure 1 turns on and the machine
does not function
Yellow LED 7 "THERMAL PRO-
TECTION" of fig. 1 lights up
Yellow LED "LOW AIR PRESSU-
RE" (5 of fig. 1) lights up
Yellow LED "LOW AIR PRESSU-
RE" (5 of fig. 1) lights up at the
start of cutting
When the torch button is pressed
the red "PILOT ARC" LED (3 of fig.
1) does not light up and the pilot
arc does not start
When the torch button is pressed
the red "PILOT ARC" LED (3 of fig.
1) lights up but the pilot arc does
not start
The pilot arc is established but the
main arc does not start (LED 6 of fig.
1 is off) and, therefore, the machine
does not cut.
Impossible to adjust the cutting cur-
rent via knob 1 of fig. 1
CAUSE
Short circuit inside the generator
No mains voltage

Power supply cord too long
A power supply phase is missing
The mains voltage drops below 360V
during the cutting process

Ambient temperature above 40°C
Air inlet for the ventilation is clogged
by dirt/generator is positioned in a way
to prevent ventilation
Electric fan of the generator is broken
Air pressure below 3.5 bar
Air flow too low
Faulty torch (internal wires or button)
Torch not screwed correctly in the
relative machine attachment
Torch not suitable for using with the
generator
