or other impurities in any case and do not touch
them with the fingers.
2) When using a lens with C mount thread, screw it
onto the adapter ring (3).
When using a lens with CS mount thread, take
off the adapter ring (3) and screw the lens directly
onto the camera.
3) The camera has a connection for an iris control (8).
Therefore, a lens with video signal controlled iris
(auto iris) is particularly recommended. Connect
the cable of the lens to the supplied plug as follows
(also see fig. 3):
pin 1 = operating voltage 12 V
pin 2 = video signal 1 Vpp for the iris control
pins 3 + 4 = ground
Connect the plug into jack AUTO IRIS (8).
As the camera is equipped with an automatic elec-
tronic shutter, lenses with manual iris control can
be used as well.
5 Mounting
The camera can be mounted with a camera bracket
(e. g. TVH series by MONACOR) at a wall or a ceiling.
For this an adapter (1) with a 6.3 mm (
provided at the bottom side. For ceiling mounting
screw the adapter to the top side of the camera.
In case of outside mounting the camera must be
placed into a weatherproof protection housing (e. g
TVG-300 by MONACOR). To be able to swivel the
camera by remote control, use a camera rotor (e. g.
VPT-69 by MONACOR).
