e.g. A 4 wire comb binding (see Fig.)
Raise the 4th selector pin from right and
punch a test sheet.
Adjust the edge distance to the left or right
with the arrow key to center the holes on
the sheet.
The side stop moves as long as the but-
ton is depressed.
If necessary, perform another test punch.
The edge distance should be the same on
the left and right.
Raise the appropriate selector pin for
other formats or other punching dies.
Electrically adjustable side stop.
Max. adjustment from 0 - 70 mm.
Attention: do not go beyond 0 and do not
extend the side stop above 70 mm, as the
side stop can get stuck.
In this case switch off the machine at the
main switch, wait a few seconds and
switch it on again.
Press the arrow key Pitch Control either
to the left or the right depending where the
side stop is stucked and press as long as
the side stop is free again.
Set the margin for the perforation to the bind-
ing diameter with the knob located on the left-
hand side. Recommended settings are located
under the knob.
