Care instructions
• The materials used to manufacture our products comply with the AZO requirement, EN71-2 and EN71-3,
and light fastness standards for textiles. Nevertheless, we advise you not to leave the product exposed
to bright sunlight for any length of time. No claims may be made for wear and tear or if the colours fade
when exposed to strong sunlight. The fabric covers on this product can be washed by hand or on a cold
cycle in the washing machine (mild detergent).
• Regular care and upkeep have a major part to play in maintaining the safety and value of the product.
Exposure to such things as salt in the air, road-gritting salt or acid rain will encourage the onset of
corrosion, as will inappropriate storage of the product.
• We recommend regular maintenance of all coated parts. In serious cases of soiling please clean the
surface coating immediately.
• Check for loose parts and fastenings from time to time and tighten if necessary.

• Use in cars:
The "ABC Design Doozy" carrycot can only be used in cars if fitted with
the "ABC Design Car Kit Doozy" attachment kit. All the instructions on
attachment are set out in the directions for use supplied with the "ABC
Design Car Kit Doozy".
• Use on pushchairs
The "ABC Design Doozy" carrycot can only be used on an ABC Design
pushchair if attached with the correct "ABC Design Risus /Doozy Adapter".
All the instructions are set out in the directions for use supplied with the
"ABC Design Risus/Doozy Adapter".
• Maximum weight of baby: 9kg; approximate age: 0 to 6 months.
• This product is only suitable for a baby that cannot sit up by itself or roll onto
its side or support itself on its hands and knees.
• For use on a firm horizontal surface only.
• Do not use spare parts other than those supplied or approved by the
manufacturer.
• Be aware of the risks posed by naked flames and other sources of heat,
such as electric heaters, gas flames, etc., which are in the immediate
vicinity of the carrycot.
• Check the handles and base regularly for damage and signs of wear.
• Check the product before use in case it has sustained damage in transit.
• Do not let other children play unsupervised in the vicinity of
carrycot.
• Do not use the product if parts are broken, ripped or missing.
• Do not insert an additional mattress.
• Do not make any modifications to the product which compromise its
safety.
• Danger of suffocation! Keep plastic packaging out of reach of babies and
children!
• Never leave your baby unattended.
• The carrycot is not designed for long periods of sleep. The carrycot is not
intended as a substitute bed or cot.
• Never put the carrycot down on a pedestal or stand.
• Do not leave any objects in the carrycot which reduce the depth.
• If the carrycot is left in the sun for a long time, certain parts may have
reached a temperature which could scald your baby. Therefore check the
temperature of the parts before use.
• When you use the carry cot as a bed outside the car, it's
obligatory to take off the harness with the buckle. Risk of suffocation.
