Care instructions
• Regular care and upkeep have a major part to play in maintaining the safety and value of the product.
Exposure to such things as salt in the air, road-gritting salt or acid rain will encourage the onset of corrosion,
as will inappropriate storage of the product.
• We recommend regular maintenance of all coated parts. In serious cases of soiling please clean the surface
coating immediately.
• Check for loose parts and fastenings from time to time and tighten if necessary.
Safety instructions
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Failure to read these
instructions may compromise the safety of your child.
CAUTION:
• The safety of the carrycot is only guaranteed by the manufacturer when
it is used by the initial purchaser. It is therefore not advisable to buy a
second-hand carrycot.
• This product is designed exclusively for attachment to the "ABC Design
Snooze" carrycot.
• The carrycot is only for use in car seats which face the direction of travel.
• The carrycot may not be used on car seats with airbags. Disable the airbag
if necessary (consult your car dealer).
• The carrycot must not be caught in the car door or in fold-down seats; no
heavy objects may be placed on the carrycot.
• Ensure that folding or fold-down car seats are fully locked in position.
• Make sure that the seat belts in the car are not damaged or twisted and
are fully functional.
• All the straps designed to restrain the baby in the seat must be tightened.
The straps holding the baby must be taut. Make sure that these straps are
not twisted.
• The product may NOT be secured with a lap seat belt.
• Never leave your child alone in the carrycot in the car.
• Do not leave the carrycot unfastened in the car. A loosely fastened or
unsecured carrycot may injure the passengers in the event of an emergency
stop or an accident.
• Ensure that all items of luggage and objects which could injure passengers
in the event of an accident or a sudden application of the brakes are
adequately secured.
• Do not make any modifications of any kind to the carrycot or to the safety
belts. This could have an adverse effect on safety.
• Stop using the product if parts are missing, worn or defective.
• Do not use spare parts other than those supplied or approved by the
manufacturer.
• The carrycot may have sustained damage if it has been involved in an
accident (even at low speed). Send the carrycot to us accompanied by an
official accident report. We will then check your carrycot and replace it if
necessary.
• The purpose of this product is to protect your baby from potential dangers
during car journeys, such as injuries or death. However, no product can
guarantee absolute safety.
• Always follow the instructions in these directions for use. Incorrect use of
the product can put your baby at risk of harm in any situation and not just
in the event of an accident.
