2.10. Indications
Inability to walk or severe walking disability as a result of:
paralysis
loss of limbs
meromelia/limb deformation
joint contractures/joint damage
other ailments
The wheelchair has been equipped with the option of a backrest
adjustment setting range of 30° and foot rests which can be adjusted
upwards until horizontal, which should be used if almost horizontal
alignment is intermittently required, e.g. as a result of orthostatic
collapse conditions.
2.11. Contraindications
Provision of wheelchairs is not suitable for people:
who are unable to sit
with joint damage/joint contracture of both arms
with perceptual disorders
with severe equilibrium disorders
with reduced and inadequate vision
with serious cognitive restrictions
2.12. Responsibility
We are only able to provide a warranty if the product is used in
accordance with the specified conditions and for the intended purposes.
If modifications, repairs or maintenance works are made, please make
sure only authorised persons perform these works in accordance to the
instructions of B+B.

2.13. Declaration of conformity
B+B, as manufacturer and solely responsible party, hereby declares
that the wheelchair Triton complies with the requirements of the EC
Directive 93/42.
2.14. Service life
If used as intended, and the safety, care and maintenance instructions
are observed, the expected service life is up to 5 years. Beyond this
time the wheelchair can be used continuously, provided it is in a safe
condition.
3. Description of product and
contents

3.1. Inspection on delivery

The Triton wheelchair is delivered fully assembled in cardboard box.
After unpacking, please retain the carton if possible. It can be used to
store or return the wheelchair at a later stage.
Delivery of the wheelchair, instructions on its use and adjustments to
the chair are carried out by qualified and authorised medical supply
stores.
If shipped by rail or a forwarding agent, the goods are to be checked
with regard to transportation damage (carton) immediately in the
presence of the delivery company. If it is damaged, please contact our
