6.2) Press the "-" to set the following period from 01:00 to 02:00 to Economic.
6.3) Repeatedly press the "-" key in all time periods that you wish to set to
Economic, and then follow the same steps to set the Comfort periods.
These operations are carried out for the 24 hours of each day (beginning with
the first twelve "am" hours of the day followed by the remaining twelve "pm"
hours).
Automatically after pressing the "+" key at 23:00, the day selector will move
on to the next day.
6.4) You have now configured Monday.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you would like to repeat the same programming for the following
days, all you have to do is press "OK" for the next day's program-
ming.
IMPORTANT: Friday programming is different from Monday to Thursday
because you normally go to bed later (at 02:00 on Saturday morning). This
will not affect Friday's programming, but Saturday morning instead. You
should take to ensure that the time periods from 00:00 to 02:00 on Saturday
morning are marked with the "+" "comfort" key.
You should carry out these operations successively for each day of the week,
using the "+" key for time periods with Comfort temperature and the "-" key
for time periods you wish to program with economic temperature.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you wish to jump a day without repeating the programming of the
previous day, press the
key and you will see that the day selector
will move on to the following day without repeating the programming.
By following these instructions you will have programmed the week in accor-
dance with your own personal requirements. Once the programming operation
has been completed, the day selector will indicate the current day.
The heater must be set to the Automatic operating mode for this programming
to become operational.
Press the "OK" key for at least two seconds and the heater will automatically
enter the Programming mode of operation.
After a few seconds, the heater will automatically change from the
Programming to the Automatic mode.
You now have a made-to-measure operating mode set up.
Read about all the other possible options for this operating mode in the sec-
tion "Automatic operating mode" (Page 43).
Take full advantage of this heater function.
Note: remember that you have three other free programs for another
three programs.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The Eco-Sensor heater can only be programmed in complete hours. It can-
not be programmed in small time periods, for example, fifteen minutes.

11. "OPEN WINDOWS" FUNCTION

Your heater is fitted with a very significant technological innovation that ena-
bles you not to waste power in certain circumstances.
Imagine that you have a conventional appliance in a room and you open a
window and forget to close it. In such a situation, you would be wasting power
because the heating appliance in this room, which losing heat through the
open window, would be consuming a significant amount of power without
achieving its purpose of heating the room up.
The Eco-Sensor heater has an automatic function that prevents this unneces-
sary waste of power.
If the temperature in the room where the heater is installed drops by
more than 4 ºC within half an hour, the Eco-Sensor heater will automati-
cally switch itself off.
This prevents any unnecessary waste of power when a window is accidently
left open.
The appliance will return to normal operation when it detects somebody ente-
ring the room.
12. "ROOM TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION" ADVANCED FUNCTION
Under certain conditions, you will note that the room temperature shown on
the appliance differs from the actual measured room temperature by a few
degrees. This is quite normal in any heating system.
Your Eco-Sensor thermal transmitter includes an Advanced Function known
as "Offset", which allows you to adjust the room temperature measured by
the heater to make it equal to the actual measured room temperature.
To do this, switch the heater on and allow it to operate normally for several
hours. Once the temperature has stabilised, measure the room temperature
using a precision thermometer.
If the room temperature differs from that indicated on the heater display, the
following steps should be followed to adjust the temperature indicated by the
heater.
An example will be employed to illustrate this operation. Allow the room tem-
perature displayed on the heater to stabilise and note down the value, for
example, 23 ºC. Then measure the room temperature using a quality precision
thermometer. Assuming a thermometer reading of 21 ºC, you can see a diffe-
rence of 1.2 ºC between the two readings.
