 Fire risk due to overheating
If the A 503 mobile unit is used without modules all water connec-
tions are closed. During drying this will cause a build-up of hot air.
The drying units can overheat and catch fire.
The A 503 mobile unit can only be used without modules in pro-
grammes that do not include a drying block.

Modules

Up to 6 modules can be accommodated in the A 503 mobile unit.
Among other things, the possible number of modules depends on the
height of the load in the mobile unit's bottom level.
Example:
For reprocessing large laboratory glassware, long pipettes or breath-
ing bags, three modules are inserted into the bottom level.
For reprocessing small test tubes, vials or intubation material, three
modules are inserted into each of the top and bottom levels.
The strip  on the mobile unit can be removed in order to insert par-
ticularly high modules into the bottom level.
Unscrew the knurled nuts on the right side of the strip.

Lift the strip from the screw and pull it out of the guide on the left

side.
