INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Cancelling logical connections between push-buttons and apartment units

To overwrite the logical connection of a push-button, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the power supply from the audio/video module.
2. Set the audio/video module to programming mode (switch 1 of DIP switch 2 to
ON).
3. Power the audio/video module again and wait for it to emit a bip followed, after a
few seconds, by 3 bips.
4. Continue with the programming, overwriting the local connections of the desired
push-button.
5. To return to the normal operating mode, disconnect the power supply, set switch 1
of DIP switch 2 to OFF and restore the power supply to the module.
To cancel the logical connections of all push-buttons, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect the power supply from the audio/video module.
2. Set the audio/video module to programming mode (switch 1 of DIP switch 2 to
ON).
3. Set switches 2, 3 and 4 of DIP switch 1 to ON.
4. Power the audio/video module again and wait for it to emit a bip followed by 3
bips.
5. Set switches 2, 3 and 4 of DIP switch 1 to OFF and continue with programming.
6. When complete, to return to the normal operating mode, disconnect the power supply,
set switch 1 of DIP switch 2 to OFF and restore the power supply to the module.

Times for starting the audio/video modules after supplying the power supply

After programming the audio/video module, it will become operative once
powered after 1 minute if all the apartment units are powered and connected to
the system, and up to 5 minutes otherwise.

Changing the video entryphone answering machine voice message language

Proceed as follows to change the language of the video entryphone answering machi-
ne voice message:
1. Disconnect the power supply from the module.
2. Take note of switches 3,4,5 of DIP switch 2
3. Set switch 7 of DIP switch 2 to ON
4. Power the module and wait approx. one minute while the initialisation phase is
completed
5. Switches 3,4,5 of DIP switch 2 are used to change the language and the module
reproduces the voice message that was just selected. It is not necessary to turn
the module on/off to change the language. See the DIP switch 2 table for language
coding.
6. When finished, disconnect the power supply, set switch 7 of DIP switch 2 to OFF,
reset the switches 3,4,5 of DIP switch 2 and repower the module.
