13. INSTALLING THE APP AND REGISTERING YOUR CHARGER

1. Before you begin, have your charger ID
card on hand.
2. Download and install the "DieHard
Smart Charger" App (Apple store
or Google Play). Look for the icon:
NOTE: For Apple devices, requires iOS 8.0
or later; Android devices, OS 4.0 or later.
3. Open the App on your mobile device.
4. Tap the Get Started button.
5. Log in to an existing Sears or
ShopYourWay account, or create
a new account.
To create a new account, enter your
email address in the field provided.
Press Continue. Next, create and verify
your password. Accept the Terms and
Conditions. Press Submit. You will
receive an email containing a link. Click

14. USING THE APP TO CONTROL THE CHARGER

1. Connect your charger, following
the precautions listed in Sections 6
and 7. Plug the charger into a live
grounded 120V AC outlet. The blue
CONNECTED LED on the charger will
turn solid. If the blue LED is not lit, refer
to Troubleshooting.
2. Open the DieHard Smart Charger App.
3. Log in, using the email address and
password that you provided when
you registered. If you forget your
password, select Forgot Password.

Open the app and fill in the information
in the Account screen.
6. When using the App for the first time,
you must register your charger(s).
To register a charger: From the home
page, select ADD CHARGER. Enter
the Charger ID number and password
(DHxxxxxxx-yy) located on the
Charger ID card included with the unit.
This information is also found on a
label on the side of the charger. Press
ADD CHARGER. Next, fill out the three
survey screens. The charger is now
ready to use.
NOTE: The information entered in the
survey is data only and does not affect
the charger operation.
4. The HOME screen shows all connected
chargers. Swipe left on a charger
to bring up the screen to delete the
charger or edit the charger information.
To add additional chargers, select Add
Charger. The App can accommodate
up to 12 different chargers. Use one
of the arrows on the right to select the
charger you want to monitor.
