1. Operating instructions
• Please read and observe all safety instructions
in the included "Important instructions for
(rechargeable) batteries" leaflet.
• Always set the output switch (C) on the battery to
Off when you are not charging your controller.
• Always set the output switch (C) on the battery to
Off when you are charging the extension battery.
• Set the output switch (C) on the battery to Off if
the extension battery is completely empty or the
controller is fully charged.
• Only use the extension battery to charge original
Sony Dualshock4 controllers.
• Only use the included USB cable and the charging
stations recommended on the packaging to charge
the extension battery.
• Only charge the battery on USB ports of the 3.0
standard, such as the PS4.

3. Getting Started
• First set the output switch (C) to Off.
• Connect the Micro-USB connector (G) to the input
socket of your Black Thunder extension battery (A).
• Connect the type-A connector (F) to any USB 3.0
port that outputs current, e.g. on a PC or the PS4.
Note
You can charge the battery even more
conveniently with the following Hama PS4
charging stations because they are compatible
with not only Sony Dualshock4 controllers, but
also this extension battery:
Hama Multistand charging station (115455)
Hama Mini charging station (115468)
Hama Black Thunder charging station (115469)
• With an average power supply of, charging takes
about 4 hours. You can tell whether your extension
battery is fully charged by looking at the red
charging status LED (D).
