II. OPERATING THE ELECTRIC PRESSURE
COOKER
Before Use
Place the device on a flat, stable, and hard surface away from wallpaper,
decorative coatings, or any other objects or cabinets that could be dam-
aged by steam, humidity, or high temperatures.
Before operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the Electric
Pressure Cooker have no dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There
should not be any obstructions between the heating element and the
bowl.
Opening/Closing the Lid
The removable lid hermetically seals the device which is extremely im-
portant for proper operation.
Holding the lid by the handle, place it on the device ensuring that the
steam release valve is on the opposite side of the display.
Without pushing the lid, gently rotate it counterclockwise, holding it by
the handle, until it slides into the corresponding slots on the housing (by
20-30°). The lid must be positioned evenly.
Secure the lid by turning it firmly counterclockwise.
