Connecting the microP2 Drive to a Personal
Computer

Connect the supplied USB cable to
the USB 3.0/USB 2.0 connector on
the microP2 drive.

Connect the other end of the USB
cable to a USB 3.0/USB 2.0 port on a
personal computer.
The access indicator lights and then goes
out and a drive letter for the microP2 drive
appears on the personal computer.

If this is the first time that you will use the microP2 drive, install
the USB driver.
 F or how to install the driver for Windows, refer to "Installing the USB Driver
for Windows" on page E-11 of this manual.
 F or how to install the driver for Macintosh, refer to "Installing the USB Driver
for Macintosh" on page E-11 of this manual.
„ USB cable

• Use the supplied 1.0 m USB cable.
• Do not transport the microP2 drive with the USB cable connected. The microP2
drive may be damaged.
