incorrect replacement of the battery. Only replace it by the
same type or an equivalent type
Avoiding the danger of fire

Do not put any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on
the device or in its immediate vicinity.
Danger of poisoning

Keep the battery away from children.
Danger of burning

Remove an exhausted battery from the device immediately. There
will an increased danger of leaking. Avoid contact with the skin,
the eyes and the mucous membranes. Rinse the parts affected
with plenty of water and see a doctor immediately in the case of
contact with battery acid.
Avoiding damage to the camcorder

Remove an exhausted battery from the camcorder immediately.
Clean the contacts before you insert a new battery.

Only use the lithium-ion battery supplied with the device.

Check that the contacts in the camcorder and on the battery are
clean before you insert it. Clean dirty contacts with a clean, dry
cloth or a rubber.
