3 Move the choke lever to the right (in the sticker indicated as "CLOSE"). This
position closes the air and increases the richness of the gasoline in the blend,
This allows a faster startup, especially in cold conditions.
CHOKE
It may not be necessary to move the startup lever to "STARTUP" if the engine
was stopped recently and it is hot yet.
4 Move the engine switch to "ON".
5 Pull the startup handle slowly and until
the end to calculate the maximum
length of the rope (and do not exceed
it later when pulling vigorously),
then allow the rope to coil back.
6 Pull softly again until you notice slight
resistance, now allow the rope to coil
back and pull vigorously to start up the
engine.
7 Allow the rope to coil slowly without
hitting the equipment. If you were
unable to start up in the first try, repeat
the operation.
NOTE: If you reach the end of the rope length abruptly you could damage
the handle or rope spring and it wouldn't be covered by the warranty.
