4. Checks prior to operation:

4.1 Oil loading and check.

NOTE: The machine originally is delivered without oil, do not attempt to
start up the machine without adding oil first!
Ensure the generator is on a perfectly leveled surface to avoid mistakes in the
oil level.
Open the maintenance lid with a
Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the oil filling cap and pour
oil in the hole until the maximum
level shown in the figure below is
reached.
OIL FILLING HOLE
Oil capacity to the correct level is about 0.32L.
Use good quality SAE10W30 or SAE10W40 4-stroke motor oil. API Oil quality:
"SJ" (USA) or ACEA "A3" (EUROPE), see packaging specifications.
NOTE: Consider that the engine consumes some oil during usage. Check
the oil level before each use and refill if the level has diminished.
NOTE: Never use old, dirty or bad oils or if you don't know its grade and
quality. Do not mix different types of oils.
