12. Safety rules
L
Please do not exceed the maximum users
weight of 150 kg.
L
Do not allow children to be under the chair,
use the chair or play with it because it
might cause injuries when the legrest are
folding.
L
If the liftchair blocks in the lying position,
you must ask assistance to leave the chair.
L
It is strongly recommended not to operate
the liftchair near a desk, a wall or other
objects too close to it, as not to cause
damage by tilting the backrest or the
legrest.
L
For prolonged use of the liftchair motor
(about 2 min), you'll have to wait a few
minutes before reusing it. This is needed to
avoid overheating the liftchair motor.
L
Do not move the liftchair:
• when the liftchair is in the lying position;
• when the liftchair is connected to the
power and/or in service.
L
Be careful not to sit on the backrest,
armrests or on the legrest.
L
Ensure that no cables become squeezed.
L
Risk of injury - Surfaces can assume the
environment temperatures.
13. Electromagnetic compatibility EMC
Your liftchair has been tested according EN 61000-
6-3: 2007, EN 61000-6-1: 2007 for EMC-
compliance.
To reduce the effect of electromagnetic sources of
interference, please read the following
warnings:
L
The liftchair might disturb the operation of
devices in its environment that emit
electromagnetic fields.
L
Should any unintended movements occur,
remove the power plug from the liftchair
from the wall socket.
Disruption of electrical equipment from
electromagnetic fields in the surroundings can
not be entirely avoided.
In the presence of very strong or long-lasting
disruptive fields, the electrical systems might break
down completely and suffer permanent damage.
