8. Communication Software
Shifting the zero point and the span
We recommend you not to change the span. The in-factory adjustment should be changed
by you only if you have available sufficient calibration equipment (at least 3-times better
precision than the accuracy given).
For instruments with absolute pressure measuring ranges or +/- measuring ranges, a
sufficient calibration equipment as well as a vacuum pump are also necessary for the
zero point adjustment.
Shifting the zero point and setting the range can be done under the „Adjustment" tab. There you
can select the corresponding button „Zero point" or „Span".
The zero point and the span can be shifted in steps using the arrow keys and then confirmed by
pressing the „Apply" key.
Note: Adjusting the span using an unsuitable calibrating standard will no longer guarantee the
accuracy class.
The zero point and the
span can be reset to
the original factory
settings by using
the „Reset factory
settings" button.
