When the appliance must be disposed of, it is recommended to
make it inoperative.
It is also recommended to render harmless those
parts of the appliance likely to constitute a danger.
This appliance must not be used by children.
Children must not play with the appliance. Keep
the appliance and its cable away from children un-
der 8 years of age.
This appliance can be used by children of 8 years or older and by
persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or by
persons that lack experience and knowledge of the appliance, pro-
vided they have been given complete instructions concerning the
safe use of the appliance and provided that they understand the
related risks.
Warnings for use
ATTENTION! CONTACT QUALIFIED TECHNICAL PERSON-
NEL TO INSTALL THE FAN.
The appliance must be installed at least 2.3 m from the walking
surface (2.3 m are intended from the walking surface to the bottom
of the fan). Do not insert objects and/or fingers inside the grid when
the fan is operating. Always unplug the fan from the power mains
before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations.
Do not immerse the appliance, its cable and plug in water or other
liquids – do not spray water or other liquids on the appliance, its
cable or plug. Do not operate if the appliance and/or its power cable
show visible damage or malfunctionings.
Do not use in the presence of explosive or flammable gases.
Do not use the fan outdoor or in the proximity of water containers
such as bathrooms or laundry rooms. Do not install the fan where it
might fall in water, e.g. near bath tubs, pools, water basins or other
containers. Do not use the fan near curtains, plants, drapes, and
near objects that might get trapped in the blades.
In case of malfunctioning or abnormal noise, interrupt the operation
of the appliance immediately.
Do not cover the appliance with cloths, garments, drapes, etc.
