FEMALE MASONS MITRE
Angle = 90º
Width = 600/610/616/620/635/700/
900*/950*mm (*KWJ950/PRO only)
Inset = 3mm or 10mm
• Choose 3mm or 10mm inset (Fig. F7a). If using radius
worktop and 10mm inset, check radius is ≤ 8mm (Fig.
F7b). 3mm inset is recommended for square-edge
worktop only.
• Insert two pins into the Front Edge Alignment Device
Pin Holes (Fig. F8a) and through the corresponding
holes on the Front Edge Alignment Device.
• Insert one pin into the corresponding Female Backset
Pin Hole, according to worktop width and inset (Fig.
F8b).
• Insert F3 or F10 T-gauge into the joint slot (Fig. F8c),
ensuring that the arrow is facing the worktop as
indicated on the T-gauge.
• Position the jig over the female worktop, ensuring
that the Front Edge Alignment Device, T-Gauge and
backset pin are pushed against the worktop.
• Clamp the jig to the worktop (Fig. F10).
• Remove the T-gauge and Front Edge Alignment
Device, ensuring that the jig is not accidently moved
(Fig. F11).
• Complete roughing cuts. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. F5).
• Complete finishing cut. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. F6).
FEMALE MASONS MITRE
Angle ≠ 90º or

• Scribe and cut male and female worktop lengths (Fig.
F12). Leave the male oversized.
• Overlay/Underlay the male and female worktop lengths
(Fig. F13a/F13b).
• Using a square, mark the front edge of the female
worktop with a pencil (Fig. F14a/F14b).
• Choose your desired female inset - 3mm, 10mm or
35mm (Fig. F15a). If using radius worktop and 10mm
inset, check radius is ≤ 8mm (Fig. F15b). 3mm inset
is recommended for square-edge worktop only.
• Insert two pins into the Front Edge Alignment Device
Pin Holes (Fig. F16a) and through the corresponding
holes on the Front Edge Alignment Device.
• For 3mm and 10mm inset, insert F3 or F10 T-gauge
into the joint slot (Fig. F16b). For 35mm inset, insert
pin into Female Inset Pin Hole "F35" (Fig. F16c).
• Position the jig over the female worktop and accurately

align the Front Edge Alignment Device to the pencil
mark on the female worktop (Fig. F17), ensuring that
the Front Edge Alignment Device and T-gauge are
pushed against the worktop.
• Clamp the jig in place (Fig. F18).
• Remove the T-gauge and Front Edge Alignment
Device, ensuring that the jig is not accidently moved
(Fig. F19).
• Complete roughing cuts. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. F5).
• Complete finishing cut. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. F6).
MALE MASONS MITRE
Angle = 90º
• Insert two pins into Male Pin Holes "M" (Fig. M1)
ensuring that the inset is equal to the inset used for the
female cut.
• Align the location pins to the postform edge of the
worktop (Fig. M2)
• Clamp the jig to the worktop (Fig. M3)
• Complete roughing cuts. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. M4).
• Complete finishing cut. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. M5).
MALE MASONS MITRE
Angle ≠ 90º
• Overlay (RH) or underlay (LH) the male worktop length,
and mark the female cut line on the male with a sharp
pencil (Fig. M6a/M6b).
• Insert the short and long male positioning devices into
the joint slot (Fig. M7). Ensure that the cut lines are
positioned as shown. (Fig. M8).
• Align the male positioning devices to the pencil line.
• Clamp the jig in place (Fig. M9).
• Remove male positioning devices A and B, ensuring
that the jig is not accidently moved (Fig. M10).
• Complete roughing cuts. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. M4).
• Complete finishing cut. Ensure guide bush is pushed
against the outside edge of joint slot as indicated by
router direction arrow (Fig. M5).
CONNECTING BOLT RECESSES
• The backset position for the connecting bolts is
125mm from the back of the worktop (Fig. B1a).
