Press the on/off button again to turn off the appliance. The ventilation stays on for a while to cool
down. Do not unplug the appliance before it has cooled down completely.
TEMPERATURE
Instead of displaying in power setting, you can also choose to display in temperature expressed in °C.

When operating the device, please put on a pan/pot firstly.
! Always place the pot or pan in the centre of the hotplate.

Press the on-off button to turn the cooking plate on. You hear a signal and 'ON' appears on the
display. The device switches off automatically if you haven't entered a setting after 10 seconds.
3.
Press the function button 2 times to start heating. The default setting of 240°C is switched on and
the temperature indicator light is illuminated.
4.
You adjust the setting using the decrease/increase buttons. You can choose from different settings.
The selected setting is shown on the display.

Press the on/off button again to turn off the appliance. The ventilation stays on for a while to cool
down. Do not unplug the appliance before it has cooled down completely.
TIMER
1.
First, set the desired power or temperature as described previously.
2.
Press the mode knob to set the timer. The timer indicator light illuminates. You will then see '0:00'
on the display.
3.
Set the desired time by pressing the decrease/increase buttons. You can set the timer between 1 and
3 hours. It is not necessary to confirm the desired setting. If you don't enter any more settings for a
few seconds, the timer is set.
4.
After setting the desired time, the timer will appear on the display alternating with the selected
temperature setting or power setting. The power/temperature and timer lights light up.
5.
If you want to turn off the timer, set it to 0.
6.
When the timer is ready, the hob switches off automatically.
CHILDPROOF LOCK

Press the child lock button to activate the child lock. The indicator light illuminates. You can only
switch off the device with the power button; other buttons will not respond. If you activate the child
lock when the appliance is off, the appliance cannot be switched on by pressing the on-off button. To
do this, you must first disable the child lock.

Press the child lock button for a few seconds to deactivate the child lock.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
! To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and the plug in water or
other liquids.

Pull the power plug prior to cleaning the device. Allow the appliance to cool down. Do not use any
caustic cleaning agents and make sure that no water penetrates the device.
