Commissioning the Easy Rain Mini:
Setting up the Easy Rain Mini: Place the Easy Rain Mini in a suitable place. Take care that the support distance between the pump and nozzle is at most 2.5 m.
The output falls sharply as the height increases. The water reservoir must not be above the nozzle. Otherwise there is a risk of the water reservoir completely emptying into the terrarium
despite the pump being switched off. We recommend storing the unit in a dark place, where it is shielded from the light, to prevent the growth of algae in the water tank.
The environmental temperature must not be below 0° C or above 40° C.
Connecting the spray nozzles:
11.
The Easy Rain Mini irrigation system comes with 2 spray nozzles
. Lock the end of a spray nozzle
12.
11.
by inserting it into the opening of the spray nozzle
with firm pressure.
11.
Fix the spray nozzles
onto one of the glass walls of the terrarium with the suction cups. Ensure that the glass is clean and
free from stains before you mount the spray nozzles. Cut a piece of the pressure hose

the two spray nozzles
and connect these to each other. Push the hose as far as possible into the opening of the spray nozzle

with some pressure. Now insert the remaining pressure hose
into the outer hose connection

necessary length to connect these with the spray nozzles
.
Align the nozzles in the terrarium such that the jet is not in the direction of the front or side walls of the terrarium when the
system is in operation.
The Easy Rain Mini can be operated with a maximum of 4 nozzles. Easy Rain spray nozzles (art. no.: 37294) and pressure hose
(art. no.: 37295) to extend the system can be found at your local retailer.
To use the Easy Rain Mini instead of a pressurised spray bottle, insert the spray nozzle
Filling the Easy Rain Mini:

In initial set up, simply lift the Easy Rain Mini operating unit
off of the water reservoir
with both hands. Insert the hose with the water filter

operating unit
. Clean the water reservoir
from the inside with a soft, damp cloth. Now
put the operating unit

back on the water reservoir
8.
.
8.
Fill the water reservoir
by pouring water into the opening of the operating unit
a bottle or watering can. Be aware that the water reservoir has a maximum capacity of 700 ml.
Overfilling it can lead to problems or a malfunction of the irrigation system!
CAUTION: Only use clean rainwater, de-mineralised water or deionized water (e.g. from an osmosis system) to fill the water tank
with calcareous tap water. Regularly change the water to prevent illness due to exposure to bacteria.
Power supply for the Easy Rain Mini irrigation system:
1. Power supply via the mains adapter:
First insert the connector plug of the adapter
17.
in the intended connection for the power cable
to the power supply.
2. Power supply without a mains adapter:
Open the battery compartment and insert 3 AA batteries.
Caution! Remove the batteries before operating the device using the mains adapter. There is a risk of fire if these instructions are not followed

Here '1' is an hourly irrigation interval and '12' is for one irrigation every 12 hours.
If you are operating the Easy Rain Mini via a controller such as the HOBBY Humidity Control II (art. no.: 10884),
set the controller to level '0'. This setting allows the Easy Rain Mini to operate continuously for a maximum of 10 minutes.

Here '4' is a 4 second irrigation time and '120' is for an irrigation time of 2 minutes (120 seconds).
Caution: If you select '0' for the irrigation interval, the irrigation time control will not work!
Cleaning and maintenance:
Note: Always disconnect the device from the power supply during cleaning and maintenance work! Use a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water to clean the product.
Do NOT use cleaning agents or solvents. These could harm the animals! Regularly clean the water filter under running water.
Troubleshooting:
If no water is sucked out of the storage tank using the pump, the height difference between the pump and spray nozzle may be too big. However, air could be being sucked if the water
reservoir is not refilled with water in good time. In this case, separate the hose from the spray nozzle, hold the end deeper than the storage tank and suck water in (e.g. with a spray).
