3. Push the batteries into the battery compartment.
The battery locks into position when you hear a
click.
CAUTION
If the battery does not move easily into the battery
compartment, the battery is not installed correctly.
This can cause damage to the product.
Note: Press the battery release button (2) to remove
each battery.
7.1.2 REAR TRAILER HITCH
WARNING
Towing loads can be risky, especially on slopes.
Max total weight (trailer & load) should not exceed
300 lbs (136 kg).
Max tongue weight should be under 45 lbs (20.2
kg).
Avoid slopes over 10 degrees.
Slow down and be cautious on slopes.
Do not tow with a grass catcher.
Secure the trailer using the appropriate clevis pin (1)
and R pin (2).

Excessive towed loads affect traction and control on
slopes. Lighten the load on slopes. Surface conditions

impact traction and stability. Wet or slippery surfaces
reduce traction, impacting stopping and turning.
Evaluate the terrain before using the unit and trailer,
avoiding slopes steeper than 10 degrees.
7.2
START THE PRODUCT
Note: Clear the area of bystanders before operating
the mower. If anyone enters the mowing area, stop
immediately and do not return to mowing until the
bystanders leave the area.
1. Raise the mower deck to its highest position. See
Deck Height Adjustment Lever (Reference 5.1.1)
under Features and Controls.
2. Insert the start key and turn to the ON position.
3. Tap the brake pedal to release the parking brake.
4. Pull the PTO switch to engage blades for mowing.
5. Step on the accelerator pedal and begin mowing.
