DISTRIBUTOR FUNCTION VIA SWITCH WITH MULTIPLE RECEIVERS FO-472-RX

Connect the digital A/V source to the INPUT of the transmitter via HDMI cable.

Connect the transmitter output to the switch input using Cat 5e/6 cable.

Use Cat 6 cable up to 120 metres to connect the transmitter and receiver with IEEE-568B standard
connection to connect the switch and all receivers FO-474-RX (up to a maximum of 253) with connection
HDMI
according to IEEE-568B standard.
NOTE: no configuration of the FO-474-RXreceivers is necessary.

Power the transmitter and receiver with the supplied power adapters.

Connect the OUTPUT of the receivers to the TV monitors via HDMI cable.

Turn on the digital A/V source and TV monitors.

NOTE: Gigabit Ethernet switches are recommended. Do not mix Fast Ethernet switches (100 Mbps) and
Gigabit Ethernet switches (1,000 Mbps) in the same installation.

Press the RESET button on the receiver to restart the
communication.

Check that transmitter and receiver are connected to the
power supply and the transmitter data cable output lights
are illuminated.

Check the data cable, condition and length. With a Cat6 cable
you can reach up to 120 m in laboratory conditions, this may
vary depending on the components of your installation.

Check that the transmitter data cable output lights are

Check the HDMI cable between the recorder and the display,
condition and length. Cables longer than 0.7 m are not
recommended.

Check the HDMI output settings on the equipment generating
the video signal.

Press the RESET button on the transmitter to restart
communication.
