CONNECTION AND OPERATION
RECOMMENDATIONS
IMPORTANT: to avoid data in the equipment, connect the HDMI cables with the equipment disconnected
from the power supply.

It is recommended to use high quality Cat 6 cables with FTP/SFTP shielding. Cables should have shielded
connectors with the cable shielding connected to the connector shield. This improves the reliability of
HDMI extenders, preventing ground loops produced when interconnecting devices (player/receiver and
TV) with different ground references which may cause loss or break-up of the image.

Please note that all equipment with HDMI output does not provide the same signal strength and sometimes
the signal may be weak. Use short, high quality HDMI cables to prevent this.

The pinout on both cable's end must follow IEEE-568B.
DIRECT CONNECTION

Connect the digital A/V source to the INPUT of the transmitter via HDMI cable.

Connect the OUTPUT of the receiver to the TV monitor via HDMI cable.

Use Cat 6 cable up to 120 metres to connect transmitter and receiver with IEEE-568B standard connection.

Power the transmitter and receiver with the supplied power adapters.

Turn on the digital A/V source and the TV monitor.

ETHERNET CONNECTION VIA SWITCH

Connect the digital A/V source to the INPUT of the transmitter via HDMI cable.

Connect the OUTPUT of the receiver to the TV monitor via HDMI cable.

Connect the transmitter output to the switch input using Cat 5e/6 cable.

Use 120 meters Cat 6 cable to connect transmitter and receiver with IEEE-568B standard connection.

Power the transmitter and receiver with the supplied power adapters.
