EXPLANATION OF THE LED CONTROL LAMP AND BARGRAPH SIGNALS
The LED control lamp and BARGRAPH display the output voltage measured and the current
operating status of the energiser, as well as any errors.
LED control lamp
The LED control lamp shows the current status of the energiser:
∙
Permanently lit: mains power operation
∙
Flashing:
battery operation
∙
Colour coding:
• blue:
high power operation (100%)
• violet:
reduced power operation (up to max. 5J)
• red:
warning or error (e.g. drop in battery voltage below 12 V or sudden strain
on fence)

If the battery voltage falls below 11.6 V, the alarm (beep tone) sounds. If the voltage
falls below 11.4 volts, the device switches itself off to protect the battery from
deep discharge (which destroys the battery). If a flat battery and an adaptor are
connected simultaneously, the red LED light is illuminated until the battery is
charged up to at least 12 V.
»
When connecting a battery, make sure that you use the 12 V screw connector
port (4). If the battery is connected incorrectly and its charging status is low,
the energiser does not give any signal and the device switches itself off.
BARGRAPH
Der BARGRAPH displays the output voltage of the electric fence and
consists of six LEDs (2 x red, 2 x yellow, 2 x green). The BARGRAPH
always runs through the LEDs from the first red one until it reaches
the display position, and stops here for a while.
