Battery replacement (fig. 6)
It is possible to replace the battery. Ensure you use the same type of battery originally
provided with the lamp: 1x 18650 Li-Ion 3.7V 2000mAh flattop.
• Unscrew the back of the solar panel.
• Remove the old battery and place the new battery.
• Screw the back on again.
• For best performance, charge the lamp in the sun (min. 8 hours) before turning it ON
again.
Troubleshooting
1. One light does not work:
It might be loose. Disconnect the light cord from the solar panel. Then unscrew the
lampshade and gently but firmly pull the LED itself out of its position and then firmly
reinsert it. Screw the lampshade back on. fig. 7 Reconnect the cables (the connection
fits only one way; make sure the half circles on both cables are aligned) and check if the
light goes on.
2. The whole light string does not turn on:
a. Check if all connections are firmly attached.
b. Ensure the solar panel is fully charged.
c. Ensure the solar panel's switch is set to "ON" and the solar panel does not detect light.
d. The solar panel only charges the battery if the switch is ON. If you have checked the
connection and the panel was in the sun for 8 hours, but the lights still do not turn on,
the switch may have been in the OFF position.
Remark: The LEDs have a + and – side. If the LED does not light, it may have been placed
incorrectly in the socket.
3. Condensation in the lampshade:
Unscrew the lampshade to remove the moisture.
