Caution:
To prevent electric shock or damage, do not input voltages above 600 V. The
input impedance of each range scale is 10 MΩ, this load effect may cause
error in high resistance measurement. If the input impedance is lower than
10 kΩ, the error can be ignored (≤0.1%).
Take care to avoid electric shock when measuring high voltage.
Check the functions by applying a known voltage before use.
3. Continuity test/resistance/diode/capacitance measurement (Picture 4)
3.1 Insert the red test lead into the
COM jack.
3.2 Switch the dial to
3.3 Connect test leads to both ends of the object being measured.
Caution:
To avoid personal injury, do not input voltages above DC 60 V or AC 30 V.
Disconnect all the other parts of the circuit to avoid inaccuracy.
Before measuring the resistance online, disconnect all power and fully
discharge all capacitors to avoid injury or damage to the device.
If the resistance is over 0.5 Ω when the test leads are short-circuited, check
the test leads for looseness or other abnormalities.
If the measured resistor is open or the resistance exceeds the maximum
range, the LCD will display "OL".
