Air filter
Before each use, clean the air filter. The air filter must always be clean for the
appropriate engine working condition. Clogged filters due to lack of cleaning
cause serious engine working condition problems, including loss of power and
damage to the cylinder, piston and rings.
Air filter cleaning
To remove residue, remove the filter and gently tap it against a hard surface. If
the filter is excessively dirty, replace it with a new one [Fig. 19].
During any maintenance and adjustment, turn off the engine and
disconnect the spark plug cable.
Spark plug
1. Clean any dirt from the spark plug and spark plug base.
2. Remove the spark plug cover.
3. Use a spark plug wrench to loosen and remove the spark plug.
4. Check the spark plug and spark plug washer; if damaged or worn, replace
them with new ones. Clean the spark plug with a wire brush if reusing it.
5. Check the spark plug gap. Carefully bend the lateral electrode
to adjust the gap if necessary [Fig. 20].
6. Carefully screw the spark plug into the engine by hand.
7. Once the spark plug is in place, use a spark plug wrench to tighten it.
8. Connect the spark plug wire to the spark plug.
Counter blade:
Periodic retightening, as well as adjustments to the counter blade, are essential to ensure the good
working condition of the shredder.
Replacing and adjusting the counter blade
Loosen the hexagonal nuts, as shown in [Fig. 21], and move the counter blade (03) until the blades
(02) are approximately 1 mm away from the counter blade (03), [Fig. 22].
The counter blade must be replaced when it shows signs of wear.
Periodically check the tightness of the blade and counter blade screws.
