Verify the electrical data indicated on the device's characteristics plate
before supplying electrical current.
• You must correctly size the electrical supply cables to the device, and from the device to the
pump or pumps, in accordance with the regulations in force in your own country, depending
on the nominal consumption of the motor and the length of cable required. Below is a table
with the maximum recommended lengths depending on the section of the electrical cable
for operation of a single pump. If the device has 2 pumps with the possibility of operating
both at the same time, the maximum cable distances reflected in the following table must be
considered half of the indicated value.
230 V Single Phase
230 V Three Phase
400 V Three Phase
• Use the appropriate cable glands to secure the cable.
• Also make sure that the electrical network has electrical protections, in particular the use of a
differential switch is recommended (300mA, class A for domestic applications).
• It is recommended, in addition to the differential switch, that the installation has a magne-
to-thermal protection and an electrical voltage disconnector to control the electrical supply
before the device.
The ground must be properly connected. If the ground connection is not
connected, it may result in electric shock or fire.
Recommendations in case of installation in a booster set or in a loaded water lifting group:
• In the case of having the 2-pump device, it is recommended that the multiple pumping group
be made up of the same pumps and, therefore, of the same power and hydraulic performance.
• In the case of controlling the pump or pumps through the pressure transducer, this must always
be as close as possible to the pumping group, as close as possible to the pressure vessel, and
always after the general check valve of the pumping group.
