1. Make sure that the disc guard (4) is fitted;
2. Remove the flanges (2);
3. Screw the wire cup brush or cut-off wheels onto the
thread of the spindle;
4. Press the spindle lock button (11) and turn the accessory
until it locks. Press down the spindle lock button and
tighten the accessory;
5. Perform a test, at maximum speed, to check the correct
installation of the rotating accessory;
6. To remove the attachment, follow the installation
procedure in reverse.
Wear protective gloves when installing accessories.
1. Insert the battery (7) on the groove and slip it all the way
until you hear a "click" noise from the lock/unlock
button (8). At this point, the battery is locked in place;
2. To remove the battery, press the lock/unlock button and
pull out the battery.
While operating the angle grinder some precautions must
be taken into account:
▪ Always hold the angle grinder with both hands and with
the auxiliary handle fitted;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure over the work
piece/object. The angle grinder's weight is enough to
apply the necessary pressure. If speed drops abruptly,
the pressure should be reduced immediately;
▪ Never turn the angle grinder on if the rotating accessory
is touching the workpiece. The rotating accessory must
not touch the workpiece until the maximum speed has
been reached;
▪ Keep the edge of the disc at an angle of about 15 degrees
to the workpiece surface. This procedure increases the
grinding capacity of the disc and will avoid unnecessary
motor overloads;
▪ Do not use water or grease during the sharpening
process;
▪ Be careful when working around corners or sharp edges.
Prevent the accessory from bouncing or getting stuck in
the workpiece.
1. Hold the angle grinder with both hands, one hand on the
handle (8) and the other on the auxiliary one (5);
2. Press the safety lever (10) and the "ON/OFF" switch (6)
simultaneously. If you do not press the safety lever, the
"ON/OFF" switch remains locked;
3. To switch off the angle grinder, release the "ON/OFF"
switch.
Never press the spindle lock button while operating
the appliance, otherwise it may cause damage to the
angle grinder.
1. Press the lock button to prevent spindle rotation or when
you install or remove accessories;
2. To unlock the spindle, release the spindle lock button.
