Before first use
To ensure the first cup of coffee tastes excellent, you should rinse the coffee maker with
water as follows:
• Open the water tank cover, fill appropriate water into the water tank, water level should
not exceed the "MAX" mark in the tank, then replace the water tank cover.
Note: the appliance is supplied with a detachable tank for easy cleaning, you can also fill
the tank with water first, and then attach the tank into the appliance.
• Set the steel mesh into the metal funnel (without coffee), make sure the tube on the
funnel aligns with the groove in the appliance, then insert the funnel into the appliance
from the "INSERT" position, and you can fix it into the coffee maker firmly by turning it
anticlockwise until it is at "LOCK" position.
• Place an espresso cup on the removable cup shelf, make sure the operation knob is on
the "O" position.
• Connect to the power source, press the power switch to turn on the unit. The power indi-
cator will become blue and the coffee indicator will flash white. The appliance will start
preheating.
• When the coffee indicator becomes solid, it shows the preheating is finished. Turn the
operation knob to the
• After about one minute, turn the operation knob to the "O" position to stop working, you
can pour out the water in a container then clean it thoroughly, now you can start making
coffee.
Note: There may be noise when pumping the water for the first time, it is normal, the appli-
ance is releasing the air in the appliance. After about 20s, the noise will disappear.
