2.13. To prevent a possible fire in the system, the boiler will automatically switch off when the temperature in the
gas outlet exceeds a given value. To preclude this from happening, please follow the instructions set forth in
section 4 regarding the installation of the gas outlet.
2.14. The hydraulic circuit must always keep open a dissipation circuit greater than 30% of the total installation.
2.15. Very specific calculations must be made before starting with the set up, in case the installation process
requires an expansion vessel.
2.16. If the stove has special characteristics, like radiant floor heating or parts governed by thermostatic valves, a
buffer tank is needed to achieve the right regulation.
2.17. Depending on the material used for the hydraulic circuit, consider using an electrolytic sleeve.
2.18. It is highly advisable to perform regular checks to assess the quality of the water in the system, especially if
more water is being added. If you use a water treatment product, make sure it is compatible with the
materials used in the heating installation. To do so, please contact the product's manufacturer.
2.19. The electronic management of the supply and return temperature of the hydraulic circuit prevents the
occurrence of condensation, making unnecessary the placement of anti condensation systems.
2.20. In order to refill the stove with fuel, the user must open the hopper lid and empty the contents of the fuel
tank carefully, to prevent it from overflowing. See technical features.

IN CASE OF FIRE AT THE GAS OUTPUT:
The stove will shut off automatically due to over-temperature gas output.
• Call the fire department.
• Consult your dealer before restarting the stove
3.
FUEL QUALITY.
Your boiler is designed to operate with wood pellets; however, it can also work with other biomass fuels (ask
your dealer about this). Many types of pellets are sold on the market, with very different quality levels. For this
reason, it is essential that they meet certain requirements: Ø = 6 mm, length ≥ 5 and ≤ 25mm, relative humidity ≤
10%, individual density ≥ 1200kg/m
The boiler efficiency may vary depending on the type of pellets you use.
ECOFOREST do not have any control on the quality of the pellets you use. For this reason, ECOFOREST cannot
guarantee the full output of your boiler nor the eventual premature aging or eventual damage of the gas outlet. It is
recommended to use ECOFOREST pellets which are approved as per European standard DIN 51731 and
distinguished by the logo of ECOFOREST printed on the 15kg bags.
If you use other biomass fuels, please note that the boiler's operating parameters and, in most cases, the
combustion grate, are not the same as those used for wood pellets. Before burning any fuel other than wood pellets,
consult your dealer on whether the desired type of fuel can be used, as well as the requirements it should meet,
and/or the type of grate necessary.
