Intended use
The shower seat is used to sit on during showering .
The armrests are intended for support when sitting and standing up from the
shower seat .
Intended user profile
The 310 seat is suitable for children and small adults, while the 450 seat can
carry large people . Both shower seats can be used by people whose weight
does not exceed 200 kg / 440 lbs .
The maximum vertical load for the armrests is 55 kg / 120 lbs.
Operating environment
For indoor use in a wet environment, such as a bathroom or wash room . The
product is intended to be used at room temperature in private homes, nursing
homes and hospitals .
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the product should be
reported to the manufacturer and the health authorities .
A serious incident is defined as an incident that leads to the death of a
patient, user, or any other person, or causes a temporary or permanent
deterioration in the person's health . Any incident that has resulted in or has
the potential to result in a serious incident must be reported .
The surface of the product may become hot and / or cold if exposed to
external sources of heat or cold (eg sunlight or frost) .
If the product is installed in an atmosphere heavy in salt or chloride, the
warranty will be reduced from the normal 3 years to 1 year .
Salt and chloride have a corrosive effect on the products components and
will cause a decrease in the life expectancy of the product . The damaging
effects can, however, be reduced if the product is showered with tap water
on a daily basis .
