2.8.2 Changing the heating element of the hot air piston
ATTENTION: Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel or an
authorized workshop! All work must be de-energized and with components
cooled to room temperature!
1. Loosen 2 screws(6) at the end of the handle
2. Unscrew the heat shield(1) and remove the upper handle scale(5)
3. Remove the fan(7) upwards and loosen 3 screws(9) from the PCB.
4. Desoldering all the wires of the radiator from the circuit board.
5. Remove the ring(3) and pull out the radiator(4) from the steel pipe(2)
6. Insert the radiator into the steel pipe.
7. Solder all the wires of the radiator to the circuit board.
8. Insert the PCB into the handle and screw it on.
9. Insert the fan, mount the upper handle and screw it together.
10. Perform the following check after the change:
11. Calibrate the hot air flask.
