Changing the grinding wheel
1. Turn off the grinder and disconnect it from the
power supply.
2. Move the eye shield upwards away from the grin-
ding wheel.
3. Loosen the fastening knob and pull the tool rest
out forward as far as possible without removing it.
4. Remove the screws on the side of the wheel guard
and pull out the outside cover.
5. Unscrew the nut from the spindle.
NOTE! The nut on the right spindle has a right thread;
the nut on the left spindle has a left thread.
6. Take out the outer flange and blotter from the
spindle.
7. Place the new grinding wheel
8. Reassemble the outer flange and nut onto the
spindle.
9. Put the outside cover, tool rest and eye shield in
place again.

OPERATION
Switching On/Off
1. To turn the grinder on, depress the switch on the
right hand side.
2. To turn the grinder off, depress the switch on the
left hand side.
Grinding process
NOTE! Before using the grinder, make sure all ele-
ments are securely assembled and properly attached
to guarantee its optimum performance.
1. Connect the bench grinder into the power supply.
2. Switch the grinder on with the grinding wheel not
contacting the workpiece.
3. Slowly move the workpiece towards the grinding
wheel, using the tool rest to steady the workpiece.
4. Once finished, switch the grinder off with the whe-
el guard away from the workpiece.
MAINTENANCE
• Always be sure that the tool is disconnected from
the power supply before attempting to perform ins-
pection or maintenance.
• Keep the cutting tools sharp and clean, and regu-
larly remove any dirt accumulated into the wheel
guards or eye shields.
