INSTRUCTION MANUAL
SAFETY INSTRUCTRIONS
WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all ins-
tructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instruc-
tions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injury.
• Keep the working area clean and well lit.
• Keep children and non-authorized personnel away
from the grinder while in use.
• Do not operate the grinder in the presence of flam-
mable liquids, gases, or dust.
• Do not operate the angle grinder if you get tired
easily or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry and contain long hair.
• Store the angle grinder out of reach of the children
while not in use.
• Do not expose the grinder to rain or wet condi-
tions.
• Check for breakage of parts and any other condi-
tions that may affect its operation.
• Never cover the air vents and keep them open for
a proper motor cooling.
• Disconnect the grinder from the power supply
before making any adjustments, changing acces-
sories, or storing the tool.
• Do not carry or remove the grinder from the power
supply by the cable.
• Keep the tool dry, clean and in serviceable con-
ditions.
• Use safety equipment. Always wear eye and res-
piratory protection.
• Always turn the grinder on and off with the grinding
wheel away from the workpiece.
• Always keep your hands away from rotating parts
while in use.
• Do not hold the workpiece near the ground surface
after finishing a task and allow it to cool.
ASSEMBLY
Installation of the grinder
1. Place the grinder into the desired workbench.
2. Fix the grinder into the workbench with the appro-
priate bolts by using the base holes.
Installing the eye shield
1. Remove the screws from the eye shield bracket.
2. Place the eye shield bracket under the wheel
guard so that the two holes on the eye shield brac-
ket and the wheel guard are aligned.
3. Fit the eye shield bracket into the wheel guard by
tightening it with the screws through the holes.
NOTE! If the eye shield falls down, tighten the eye
shield screws.
Adjusting the spark arrestor
1. Loosen the spark arrestor screw.
2. Adjust the spark arrestor so that it is at a max of
2mm away from the grinding wheel.
3. Once in place, tighten the spark arrestor screw.
Installing the tool rest
1. Align the slot on the tool rest with the slot on the
inside of the wheel guard.
2. Insert the bolt into both slots and place the was-
hers onto the bolt.
3. Place the tool rest in a way that the gap between
the grinding wheel and the tool rest is of 2mm at
most.
4. Secure the tool rest into the grinding wheel guard
by tightening the tool rest fastening knob in place.
